About

Snarling at the Default is where I, Megan, keep my most personal possessions: my words and creativity. My mind is always on the trail of prospering from the lessons I learn single handedly every day but to the extent of what I allow myself to come in contact with. My writing reflects my very existence.

Name

snarl 1
v. snarled, snarling, snarls
1. To growl viciously while baring the teeth.
2. To speak angrily or threateningly.

I snarl at how people categorize. It is almost like putting defaults on everything you try to produce or accomplish. For example, to be considered “cool” you have to wear so-and-so brands of clothing and/ or wear your hair like this or that. No, defaults are set to be changed and I hope that is what my work captures, to say the least.

Clench your teeth in dislike or join in on the snarling.
